The Sensors Group has capabilities (and a growing infrastructure) in microscopy, including optical microscopes (the best being a Leica MZ16, which fits a Nikon Coolpix 8800), an Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope (FEI Quanta 200) with EDAX, and an Atomic Force Microscope (Veeco NanoScope).
